I have no idea what happened over the last few days, all I know is I have a lot more paperwork to do. Having several thugs on our most wanted list show up dead has the department scrambling.

I have to get used to not being in blue anymore, which is pretty hard. They have me in suits. I've never really been the suit type, but it is what it is. I've been in Tokyo all week, meeting my staff and doing overviews of current cases. Had a rather exhilarating encounter in the mountains. It made me think a lot about what I want in life. When I get home, I'm applying for Sergeant. I'm not waiting anymore. And I'm also more sure of myself now. I feel like I know what I'm doing now.
Also, Seiichi, I might be a little late. Had to visit a doctor. It's not a big deal, however. -
