Favorite Book so far?
Tough one. Either Order of the Phoenix or Half-Blood Prince, probably the latter. Prisoner of Azkaban still holds a special place in me heart, though.

Chamber of Secrets. Though in some ways, I wonder if it's Sorceror's Stone. Meh.

Oy. I've no idea. The most powerful for me is Harry having to force Dumbledore to drink the potion in book 6. I'm also a fan of Hermione punching Draco.

Ah, here we go. The above-referenced potion-drinking scene.
6. Number of times you have re-read the series?
I think I've re-read all the preceeding books each time a new one comes out, so however many times that works out to.
7. Favorite character (s)?
Dumbledore, Hermione, Harry, Ginny, Snape, Tonks, McGonagall, Lupin, Fred and George (I like how they're basically one entity), Luna Lovegood, Bill Weasley (though that's more fanon than canon, I think).
8. Most hated/annoying character (s)?
RON. RON RON RON. DIE, or at least let Hermione find someone worthy! Also many of the girls--what is it with JKR and annoying girls? We've got Lavender, Parvati, Romilda Vane... Mrs. Weasley also tends to get on my nerves.
9. Which character do you find secretly annoying that others on your flist love?
Hmmm. PERCY (that's for you, Cellie, sorry, <3). I hate the little bugger, and I don't think he'll redeem himself.
11. Which character do you secretly like that others on your flist dislike?
Hmmm. Well, Veronica has an irrational hatred of Dumbledore, but that's not generally shared. Shame, VS! How can you not love a man with the quote, "Alas, earwax!"??
12. Favorite Spell?
I like the Patronus, probably because it's different for each person, which is cool (also one of the better effects in the HP5 movie). Also love the "Episkey" one for mending bones and minor injuries, as that would be most useful for a dancer such as myself. Shin splins, begone!
13. Favorite magical animal?
Hmmm. I love the bowtruckles, though I think they're more creatures/spirits than actual animals. Other than that, I love the knurls, mostly because the idea of a paranoid hedgehog is just brilliant in so many ways.
14. Which magical object would you love to own?
Probably a wand. Otherwise, I kind of love the Pensieve, a LOT.

1. A skilled legilimens - Meh. I have enough issues of my own, I don't want to know everyone else's.
2. An Animangus (If this, what form?) - Hell yes! Form...blub blub blub...not sure. Something medium-sized, definitely a mammal of some sort. Maybe a hedgehog, so I could chill with the knurls.
3. Metamorphmagus - Not so much. I'd get confused.
4. Parselmouth - Ew, no! Is there something to talk to insects, though? That'd be cooler, they're everywhere, and they swim, fly, crawl, you name it.

Ravenclaw. No question, none at all.

Teacher! I don't know what subject, though--probably History of Magic, because I'm a big nerd but I'd be a way more exciting than Binns.

2002ish, I think. Maybe 2001.

Got fic recs from my best friend joyouschild, mostly for fics at FA, and went on from there. Lurked about FFN a little bit.
3. Which fandom pastimes - do you participate in?
Debating, reading fics. HATE HATE HATE the flame wars, and always left fandom alone after each one, out of sheer disgust.
4. What (if anything) has changed for you in the fandom?
I'm less involved in it, as I drifted away once I went to college. I rarely read fics anymore, though hopefully I'll go back to it.
5. Will you still be with us after Saturday - or is it over now that canon is over?
I'll definitely still be around. Oh the fic-writing now that we know everything! REJOICE!

1. Writing my first fic, which was terrible.
2. Coming up with a Cho/Neville fic.

4. Meeting priscellie freshmen year (who went on to be my roommate for three years straight) and recognizing her name/face from seeing her art on LJ.
