I don't watch wrestling (and that's not gonna change), but I gotta admit a feeling of respect for this guy.

This guy is one of the All Time Greats. Outside of the ring he has always been a wonderful man (from what I've heard anyway). Inside the ring, he's just a crazy bastard (once had a tooth break off and come out his nose... among other things; nasty breaks and explosions...). Just goes to show that some times it's the "crazies" that make the best people. I don't think he ever played in the wrestling story lines that involved even harm to female wrestlers! But it's been a loooong time since I've watched any.

But isn't it better knowing that he is not only an advocate, he got thrown off of the side of a 16' steel cage by the Undertaker and slammed through the Spanish announcer's table and still got up to finish his fight, only to be slammed THROUGH said cage later and onto thumbtacks?

As a wrestler he's okay. He's always been far better with a mic in his hand and words spilling from his mouth. But as a writer he's completely awesome. Even if you're not a wrestling fan I would suggest his book "Have a Nice Day" to anyone.

Mick Foley has always been pretty cool when it came to things like charity, family, and doing what's right. It just goes to show that you can't judge a guy by his job. Unless you're speed dating, apparently.

Mick's a decent guy, and a pretty entertaining writer.
