Common sense, good advice below from the Dalai Lama... London these days is a rainy wet soggy place...just busy studying Tibetan with a very good professor from Oxford, writing and working with a south London writer's group, reading more poetry and philosophy than I thought possible in earlier parts of my life, editing a Buddhist text, etc.... i don't post very often -or at all, really- but i do like to keep in touch with friends :)

went to Mexico City for some family matters and it was a surprising trip. a lot has changed since i lived there. the traffic snarls are unbeleivable. the driver that picked me up at the airport took a wrong split in the freeway and decided to drive in reverse on the shoulder at full speed until he could get on the correct one! i was hanging on for dear life but, i must admit, it was quite fun in a way.

i keep thinking -and hoping- we'll see each other again. lots to talk about! think of you frequently -as in family.
