Frozen longan is good.........just like nature's own, artificially preserved, ice cream. But, I miss fresh longan...and chom chom...and lychee...

You know, I'd actually be hurt by this comment, if not for a few things:

1. I don't take really care about the opinions of cowards. Comment later, when you're logged in, and maybe I'll take you seriously.
2. I said he influenced my regular style, which is much different from this. I didn't compare myself to him, didn't put down his work, or boast about mine in any way.
3. "You suck." Wow. Can we give the dumbass an award for the MOST creative insult ever?

Can't log-in don't have a livejournal and I'm not going to make one just to insult you when I can do Anonymously. If you really know Poe than you wouldn't say he influenced your regular style, he's a master, your basically a blurb writer. The whole you suck came from YOUR bio, I was just reiterating it for you, just to remind you. Why come up with a special insult just to critize you when you had one ready-made for me? Allergic to stupididty? Guess you have to have a lot of smart people around to counteract yourself.

If it's too much trouble to create an lj, then why waste your breathe flaming random strangers? Or, you could just drop your name/email/other info in the comment somewhere. Don't hide behind the veil of anonymity.

Do you just troll aroung the net looking for entries so you can inject your rude comments? Ever heard of constructive critism?

If you really know Poe than you wouldn't say he influenced your regular style, he's a master, your basically a blurb writer.Poe being a master a subjective thing. That's just your opinion, don't state it as if it were fact. And "if I really knew Poe"? You write that as if you were his best friend. Do YOU really know Poe? Have you read all his biographies? Every single piece of work he's written? Know all the details of his life? No. Because he's dead, you're not, and no records left behind could ever really capture a person, especially an extra complicated person like Poe ( ... )

By the way, I LOOOOVVVEEEE internet debates, especially about writing. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the above banter.

I also enjoyed your piece. You did an excellent job at keeping your tone.
