So, I am considering moving...far, far away from my hometown of Nashville, TN. Really, the only condition that the place must meet is that it cannot have a lot of snowfall; I hate driving in it. Any suggestions?

Um, California doesn't have a lot of snowfall, and it's far far from TN. How about Hawaii?

I'm considering the West Coast, though I'm not sure I could handle the constant natural disaster that California is. North Cali, Oregon and Washington are still on the list.

I think I would really like Hawaii, however, it's so far away from...everything else. I think if I intended to move there, I would 1. have to visit first, and 2. have to move somewhere else first to see if I would like living away from Nashvegas.

Eh, California is thunderstorm free though. We just have different natural disasters. 35 million of us live here, so if it's actually all that bad, people wouldn't actually live here....

And uh, if you fear earthquakes, living in Nashville isn't a good long term solution either.... any major quake from the New Madrid fault (and it will be major, consider the lack of quakes over the past 150 years along that fault), will probably put Katrina to shame...

Hawaii is not bad, but it is far from everywhere else, and you may feel isolated if you ever... want to leave it.

Belfast. It doesn't snow there.

Uhm, isn't there still quite a bit of violence in Ireland/North Ireland? I know that the IRA said at some point that they were going to seek only peaceful means for a unified Ireland, but I don't know whatever came of it...

Oh, and I've never been to the UK...or out of the country. I don't even have a passport. To move to a place where 1. I have to partially decode what people say, and 2. they drive on the other side of the road, I'd need a more compelling reason to move...even if they do let people get hitched.
