So apparently my story, as well as one by an author called DarkAlbino, has been stolen and put under the Bleach fandom. My story is now under the heading 'Prey', and is still up on this user's page ( Read more... )

you really do have every right to be angry, this is ridiculous.

I know now it's happened to a few people. All I can donis report it though. I thing the user likes the attention.

I've never even heard of this happening. One good thing is that she obviously thought you were good enough to steal from. Bad thing she just might steal from any old ORIGINAL writer on FFN. And she doesn't deserve the "author" title so more power to you. And yeah, I will report it. AndI don't think it's weird that you didn't notice. I wouldn't. Which is really sarting to make me second guess.

Oh ff.net, you never change xD The likelihood of ff.net responding to your complaint and taking the story down is about... 5%? If even. A friend of mine had her story plagiarized once, and she and others continued to report the story for literally two years before it was removed. Whether it was done by the mods or the plagiarizer is a mystery lol ( ... )

I'd flame and spam, but it looks like there are plenty enough people doing that already. I'm sure at this point the person's just doing it to rifle feathers because clearly she can't still think people believe it's hers.

I'm more angry that FF.net bans stories for all sorts of stupid reasons, but when it comes to plagiarizing they just ignore it. With my luck my story will be removed before her copied version, heh I probably just jinxed myself
