I need to ride my bike. I need to ride my bike. I need to put a pack on my back fender and gooooooooo! Adventure and twisted roads! I can't explain what it is about the motorcycle -- honestly, everyone, it's the closest you'll ever get to flying. I was reflecting on the night we road for 16 straight hours, 800+ miles, and we so dseperately wanted ( Read more... )

Ooooh... what bike do you ride on? I only use mine for commuting to and from work (Ten miles). I have a Suzuki GN125, full licence, but I don't need anything bigger.

Hey! I looked a picture of that model -- your bike is so neat! Yeah, for a commute you don't need anything bigger, and really, it's debatable whether bigger bikes are ever really "necessary" :) It's nice to have more torque or displacement if you do a lot of interestate/highway driving, but around town that's just perfect. What color is your bike? I didn't know you rode -- how fun! :)

I ride a Harley-Davidson Sportster. It's the smallest of the Harley-Davidson, but it's more than enough bike for 95% of the population.

Oh, and mine's not that weird Barney the Dinosaur color in the picture. It's just plain black.

Ooooh, very nice! To be honest I think that the larger bikes are safer on motorways because of their increased weight and speed capablities. My 125 will sustain 60mph and has hit 70, but is morre comfortable around 50mph. People say to me about upgrading and I say that it does its job and that I have a car for long distances and heacy items. I ride for pleasure, not sport.

It's red, although does have a few small off colour patches where I dropped the bike. Not while riding mind you, I was putting it away and slipped on wet grass. There's a few shots of it here http://www.silverfoxwolf.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=19 although there it still has the learner plates on, which I no longer have as I passed the test for it.

I'd like to have one of those mega Harley's, but I think that's just more a passing dream then an acual want or need. Would just be nise to cruise on one of the large old ones.

Crap, I love that road so much. Even the endpoints are wonderful - though I love Terlingua more than I love Presidio.
