But as for your future, just do what you love. Most people have a hard time finding that, and you seemed to find it in Atlas. If that's the case, don't give it up or you'll regret it. You will be able to find a job next May, no worries. You have a very practical major that will serve you well, especially with everything in the Tidewater area.
