Yesterday was grand. I went to the last part of Ozzfest to see Disturbed and System Of A Down. Disturbed was cool, they put on a good show. I've seen them before. I've been wanting to see System for over 5 years and I didn't think it would happen here. I wish I could describe how utterly perfect the show was but words only fail. There was a ( Read more... )

I saw System about a year or two ago at a music festival. It was a bit of a bummer being at a music festival, because there were people in the audience who weren't into it, who were just standing there, even talking. They sucked. And also, because a few years back there was a girl who was crushed in the moshpit and killed, since then, they have big barriers and a two hour line if you want to get into the frontmost part, so I wasn't as close as I would have liked.

Yeah, I have drooled over the unbelieveable riffs and lyrical orgasms System has given me since you introduced me to them..my first cherry popper was aerials...and since then its all down hill. Yeah the pavilion is nice. As far as the door to door thing goes, theres this Amish lady who sells baked goods along the roadside out here, reminds me that there still is some good stuff out there, a safe community that thrives throughout the criminal doings around it. Oh yeah and across the street there is this place that uses the barter system, they sell pumpkins for whatever price you want to give or want to trade...really awesome. Tamales sound good. Miss you bunches.
