I dropped a couple of the big plot bombs for my game in the nightcity_siu LJ instead of at an actual game session.
I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. Did I cheese a few big moments? or will it still bear fruit?

I think it works great. In some ways, this fits the style we play in, and allows more to be hammered out when there is less distraction, less brainlock, less fussing... I personally think some of this tech would have helped a lot back in the olden days- granted, it wouldn't have solved some of the basic fucked up core programming issues with the PEOPLE themselves- but with the right crew, this works marvelously.

It is good.
But those of us who cannot respond in a timely fashion to each thing as it happens, it affects our responses, less spontaneous if you see how others react over a space of several hours while one is gone.

Good. You did not cheese on the big moments. Though it is a bit overwhelming to see 130 posts and not being able to read/respond in a decent time frame.

The issues with people being forced to play catch-up on the LJ was brought up to me. I see it as the biggest negative to what I did. So apologies for that...I made fleurrette lose sleep unnecessarily.
