Because yabureta tagged me and I won't say "no" to her.

► Each blogger starts with eight random facts/habits about him or herself.
► Bloggers that are tagged need to write on their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
► At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names. NO TAGS SORRY ( Read more... )

Oh man, the complimenting girls thing--!

All the time in college. Like downtown at night girls are always doing that. Its always, "Oh WOW I love your _____" fill in with: hair, dress, make up, shoes, bag, dress, earrings. I even had a couple of girls just randomly hug me on big party weekends because we were wearing the same shirt or had the same purse or shoes. Yeah none of that is lesbionic... wtf >_>;; AND GIRLS LOVE IT! I loved it, my girl friends I was partying with loved it, hell even the guys loved it because they got to see a bunch of girls squealing together and hugging and fawning. Haha its pretty straight imho D:

Also I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who can use their car clicker with their teeth :(((((((

4. "I don't want to have to adjust my way of life for anyone."

YES. This is exactly why I prefer living alone, whenever I can.

8. It makes me sad to go through grocery stores and see everyone looking like they just rolled out of bed, then there's the occasional elderly gent or lady who you can tell just have too much dignity to leave their homes looking like that, but nobody really notices them because they're "old". Compliments really light up their faces.

:( I compliment the women like that, too. One of them just out of nowhere complimented me on a skirt I was wearing and said she liked the way it swished. I was like dkfljg ohthankyou I LOVE WHAT YOU DID WITH YOUR HAIR ;3; ;3; ;3; also you have a lovely necklace!!

I really don't understand why some people view compliments as an awkward or uncomfortable thing.

To be honest, I sometimes get weirded out by some compliments. But that's because of my own gender issues, rather than having any sort of problem with strangers. If I get complimented on some funny boots or a t-shirt I'm wearing, I'm fine with that. Being called a pretty girl or cute boy would probably make me a little uncomfortable, because I don't present myself as either one. (Not that I would hold such compliments against someone, if they're sincere. Just that I'm still not quite comfortable in my own skin. )

When I say I don't want to date, I'm being honest. I have no interest in dating. I have had several opportunities to date since I've been in Florida and endless ones in Wisconsin. I just don't want to do it.

^ WORD. Same for me.

6. You're amazing♥

7. HAHAHAH ILU. THAT IS HONESTLY THE BEST THING EVER.

dkfjgklj most people wouldn't THINK THAT'S GREAT...

THE 7 ONE, I MEAN.

In fact, I'm sure it makes me a manipulative bitch in certain ways, and I'm also sure I don't really care. OH WELL.

This past year I've been discovering a lot of behaviours I didn't previously want to admit, but lately I've also discovered I don't really want to change them either, so I might as well be forthright about them.

It's great. Period.

If there are guys out there who are going to underestimate us because we're OSHI-- GIRLS then it's their own fault for getting one-upped. I mean, honestly, I think they deserve it for looking down on us.

We can contribute just as much ( or more ) in the workplace as they can. &, hell, we can turn their stereotypical views against them, while they go, "Oh, let me treat you like you can't do anything because you're a pretty little girl."

FGJ, AMIRITE. Or something like that. Either way, it's A+ in my book & so are you.

ROFL it's not always so admirable.

I'll take advantage of anyone willing enough to think I'm a fragile little flower for whom they need to carry bags and everything else. There's also absolutely no reason why I haven't received a traffic ticket yet and I think cops are biased.

If they're really nice, I'll probably not do it as much though and be like "awww thanks but no thanks, I actually can lift that. DON'T GO OUT OF YOUR WAY FOR ME!!"

afterthought edit!!

i think it's because i wear nice skirts and nice shirts and heels and jewelry (when i can, thanks you fucking allergic reaction >:( i envy people who can wear jewelry without having to take it off when their fingers get itchy) constantly. that has a lot to do with how much you're perceived as A DELICATE GIRLTHING
