Capris are so much fun to wear! And they're really versatile too!

Yeah! Just remember to wear the right shoes so it's not too casual ^^

if you absolutely have to wear flared jeans i'd suggest at least picking a flashier, nicer jean than just regular old jeans...ie. ed hardy, apple bottom, dereon, etc. even if they don't have prints or whatever.. there are dressed up versions of jeans :)

Yeah, I try to buy jeans that have a little "umph!" to them in likes of design, or a particular charming quality.

I really like the jeans that have the ripped effect, but have a lining behind them, so you don't see the legs but whatever pattern or color the lining is. However I've yet to find a pair my size. DX

I'd give capris a chance. I personally love them (and I have the shortest, stubbiest legs ever); pair them with high heels or tall platforms, you'll look more slender. Have you considered jean overalls? They're everywhere on magazines and come in a variety of styles; wear a cute top, or a fitted baseball shirt and a long pendant. Maybe pair it with a fedora or panam hat or a baseball cap...there are possibilities for us ^^

Oh, I love capris! I think they're a perfect balance between shorts and jeans, and I think you play them up or down. I was actually thinking about jean overalls, but I usually like a style that's more cutesy and girly/tendy but I think the overalls could be played into that?

Oh, P.S. - May I friend you?

I adore capris so so so much. And as you say, they can be formal or casual. Overalls are my new love, they're very versatile and all magazines feature many ways to wear them, ncluding very girly styes; it depends on the top and accessories, mostly. I also like to roll the legs of the overalls and turn them into capri overalls ^^

Ooh, yes! Friend me!! I'll friend you back, I love reading looong Friends pages!!

Aaah, my heroine! Thank you for these, so much. I actually do have a pair of Capris, and one pair of bermuda shorts I purchased listed here that I bought to help me get that look I was going for.

P.S. - Thank you for helping me with that one girl on the gyaru forever fourms. ♥ I'm really grateful.

Hmm, I usually try to avoid overly baggy jeans, since they do make me look bigger than I really am. I wouldn't mind straight leg or skinny if I'm say wearing boots that will cover them.

I just don't like how they look on my ankles and calves, haha. It's mostly my thigh area that I don't want bare exposure too, so knee and downward it's all good. Hmm, it's funny you say that about the flare legged, usually they are the ones that look totally best on me, since the shape gives my legs a good shape.

Maybe flared is the wrong word, is tapered leg a better description?
Anyway jeans with a shape likethis
Are what I'm really going for.
