Well my college plans are up in the air. My Mom came crying to me today begging me not to go to Mousourri for college. She doesn't want to be alone. I cannot really blame her and I probably owe it to her. She took me and and raised me when I was around 2-6 months old. so Over 18 years she has took care of her. The whole situation really upsets me

Ouch, that is a tough situation you got there. Being alone sucks ass but so does not persuing your goals for life. Guilt trip is always hard to fight against. I always figured parents have a hard time letting their loved ones go, but its even harder to watch them be sad right? I cant put myself in your shoes because we're totally different that way. Hope things work out for the best Daniel.

Oh Daniel. You owe it to yourself to go to the college you want to. I know your mother did a lot in raising you, but you don't, in anyway, owe it to her to stay. She raised you NOT so that you would owe her later on, but because she loves you and it was the right thing to do.

If you're afraid of your mother being lonely, get her involved in community activities. Stay in contact with her once your gone. But you will regret it FOREVER if you don't do right by yourself. You're going to college to get an education and make your life better. Don't forget that.
