The Pain of Loss

*hugs* I'm so sorry, Jess. I know how it feels to hold a dog in your arms that's no longer with us. When Sparky passed away, I had to watch. Adam and Claudia had to work the next day, so I stayed up with Sparky to try and make him comfortable. I let him outside when he wanted, tried to feed him...Hell, I even tried to find a painless way for him to make it onto the couch. He couldn't make it, though. He had some form of cancer, and it had gotten too serious to treat. The one thing I always found sort of comforting was when I let him out into the back for the last time. He went to the center of the yard and looked into the sky, as if he was saying goodbye to the world. Not much later, I had to watch him pass away in the front yard. I had the 'pleasure' of telling Adam that his best friend had died. Claudia didn't want to leave him out there, so she gave me a towel to wrap him up in so I could carry him inside. I know but I've had her for 10 1/2 years...She was my only friend when i lived in North Carolina and when i first moved here...I dont want to let go...I don't see why she had to catch cancer...

She was an awsome dog I loved her very mych just thinking that i was helping her into the car, the car that was going to take her to her death kind of irritaits me and makes me wanna cry

I know...I wish you could have seen her Rillers...She was in so much pain...I miss her so much
