"It Was a Good Idea at the Time..."

Yes, so it appears that not even I am to be exempt from the world of mindless retardation.
I am a big fan of the saying "It seemed like a good idea at the time". This is mostly due to the fact that I find myself saying it a lot after such actions.
Take my most resent reason to drink.
I have a friend of mine that I have known for a good year now, and after dealing with his failure in relationships and emo whining about it to what seemed like only me, I decided to do something about it...and by that I meant ignore him. But then one day while I was hanging out with a couple people at my shop, one of the girls being my first ever best friend Thrivis and her friends, the idea suddenly popped into my head. I will set him up!
The girl I had decided to do this with was the second girl with me. She seemed to be just like him in every way and it was no doubt a perfect match!

Until I set them up and automatically realized: "CRAP! I'M FUCKED!"
But I wasn't thinking that at the time. I was thinking "WOW! Wouldn't be great if *beep* got with *beep*? I bet he'd be sooooo happy!"
Again, good idea at the time.
So now the woman is fawning all over him and I have to try and stop it from totally fucking me over by making me completely worthless to him!
If he has a girlfriend I am pretty much just that person over there that he could care less about. Cuz' let's face it, when has any man chosen his friends over the woman who will undoubtingly fuck him if all works out?
AAHHHH! WHAT NOW!?
I have put up with her because of Thrivis and her stupid antics haven't gotten on my nerves till now because in her past I was like "Oh well, if she fucks up her own life, not my business."
But now, it's on.
Guess I brought the stress of it on myself, but at least I can hopefully end it before she fucks him over.
On the plus side, today was fun.
I spent all day with Thrivis and went out to see Tropic Thunder (Highly Recommend!) and then went to my grandma's for din-din like every Wednesday.
I is full and satisfied...
