As of today it will be 4 weeks till I leave for Japan. It's still kind of surreal. I got my JR slip for my rail tickets, and the money is out of my account (and in Elizabeth's cause she booked the flight/hotel) which makes me feel at ease. I'm not used to having a lot of money in my account, so I feel a bit uneasy, especially if I have to save it ( Read more... )

We will be visiting Nagoya AFTER we come back from Osaka. I have a plan. :)

We can only use the JR pass for 7 consecutive days, so we can use the exchange order and get the pass on the 13th and use the JR lines from then out.

We will only need a one-way Narita express ticket from the airport to Tokyo, because we can use our JR Pass to get a ticket on the way back. That'll save us 3000 yen when we go to get the Suica card/NEX combo package. Woohoo!
...then again, you may not understand anything I wrote up there...but you'll get it when we get there. :)
