I'm so happy, I can't contain my giggling :D :D
So yes, I went to see the international premiere of Gantz today, which took place during the Nippon Connection in Frankfurt.
I don't want to get too much into how I got there, let's just say I went with a friend who isn't really interested in anything related to Japan, but since she loves horror and

I loved it too**
I can't tell if I saw the censored version or not.. I only know that the only part really brutal was at the beginning (the onion-alien).
haha dear this is YOUR lj, you must do spoilers XD just, warn not to read if someone doesn't want spoilers^^

Oh, yes! The onion-alien scenes was definitely the most brutal one. But the part about Kato dying was pretty violent and graphic too, so I was wondering they ever cencored it :)
HAHA, thanks for reminding me LOL
But no, I won't post spoilers ^^ Mostly for friends of mine, who haven't seen the movie yet and would be too tempted to read them if I wrote about them xD

haha then you're a good friend if you can keep you from doing spoiler for them X°D
omg I love the quotes at the side of the page! Ninooo<3 Mh I think the second quote is from "more"...maybe...but I don't know what number exactly...

I was nevertheless not sure what the rating was in the US.
*smile* I'm trying to be!
Some of them have no chance to watch the movie in original japanese like I did, so they are not going to watch it at all until it is released on DVD.
I really don't want to spoil them until then!

I've been there, too yesterday.
I also posted a part of the q&a on my journal!

I already read it and it was really quite interesting!
Believe me, I was super dissapointed that I wasn't able to get my Visual Book signed *sigh*
I really don't want to blame my friend though, she was nice enough to drive me ... ^^"

so even some who waited there didn't get anything. I guess I was lucky :P

I was nevertheless really sad about it D:
But hey - lucky you *0*

I also went there yesterday~
I still remember being squashed into the corner by all those people before we finally got in XD
I thought the atmosphere while watching the movie was very nice though. Everyone seemed to enjoy it.
Anyway, I think you didn't really miss anything~ the Q&A part was not that extremely interesting though quite funny at times^^

I wouldn't believe that the room was big enough for 400 people!!
Oh, absolutely! I loved the atmosphere too!
Before it started, I was so nervous and giddy and couldn't wait to see Nino on the big screen :D
And I liked that everyone around me was the same *0*
When Nino spoke those first lines, I actually heard people gasp in anticipation =D
Thank you for the information =)
I nevertheless thought it was very sad that I couldn't be there D:

Oh that sounds nice! Where I was sitting I didn't really hear anyone gasping in anticipation. Maybe there weren't any Arashi fans nearby. But I saw some Japanese people having uchiwas of Sho and Nino while I was still waiting outside. That was nice =)
I was so excited to see Nino on the big screen as well^^~
I know, it probably is something to feel a little let down about. But the Q&A was only about 10 minutes anyway =) At least you could see the director shortly before the movie started ;-)

:D Oh, I saw uchiwas too! But only Aiba's xD ... which was little bit weird I guess xD But I liked seeing it nevertheless.
Yes, it was great =)
Because I was literally on the edge of my seat when the movie started, waiting to see the first glimps of Nino and I heard people around me recognizing his voice *___*

I saw it last month in my neighbouring country (it will only show in mine next week). I was shocked that it was that graphic! However the movie somewhat dragged for me during the giant buddha part.
But I was still awed by Kazu-chan's immaculate acting! Found it extremely cute that Kurono-kun was a such pervert kekekeke!! XD

Actually, I was expecting it to be graphic, having read the manga and all but ... idk, it was still a shock.
I was really glad my friend was with me though (even though I had to explain what "cosplay" is and she made a few comments that no fandom-person/ fangirl would have ever made xD) because she is awesome with that kind of movies xD
Yes, it was a little repetitive at times.
Nino's acting was flawless though *___*
I mean, he seemed a little too strained at times but that was okay =D
He was perfect in the scenes in which Kei suffered, the temple scene where he could barely move was AMAZING, just as much when he was crying because of Kato QQ
And I liked him best in his suit, obviously xD

Nino in the tight suit was SMEXY to the max! *__* Even though I am not a Kazu fangirl, I appreciate other members as well~
Was extremely touched by Kurono-kun's crying scene. I sniffled alot when I saw the film. ;;___;;
Your friend must love horror/graphic movies! ^^
Reply
Yeah, he looked absolutly amazing in the suit xD
He is so tiny and thin, it somehow worked really well on him!
Who are you a fangirl of? =D

I'm sure you will be able to see it eventually!
