Sand

This week's theme is SAND. I haven't had much time to go out and take new photos, so I scanned some old ones from the Great Sand Dunes National Monument in Colorado. The scan quality's not that great; I did it at CVS.

I love #1. #4 is a close second, but that star (or moon?) is not clear enough for me to love it as much as #1...

Unfortunately, I think the mark on #4 is a defect from the scanner. There's nothing like that on the print.

I really like how dark blue the sky gets in # 1 & 4. I think it's because of the high altitude but I'm not sure.

I like #3 because the background provides a sense of scale.

I'm leaning towards #3 as well. The colors in #1 & 4 are intense but you don't really know what you're looking at.
