I'll put up a ton of pictures in my Facebook album, but here's a selection of representative photos from last week's trip to Ireland.
Sunday
We arrived in Dublin very early Sunday morning and slept until noon, then headed off to find the Guinness Storehouse.
Monday
We found Lemon Crepes and Coffee Company, which we visited every "morning" thereafter. St. Stephen's Green and Trinity College followed.
Tuesday
We found the craic on Monday night, so on Tuesday we were very hungover. We saw The Hangover and watched TV in bed.
Wednesday
We took the train to Galway, a smaller city on the west coast of Ireland. There were more Irish-speaking people here and the general atmosphere was more rustic. In St. Nicholas Cathedral I lit a prayer candle for my Grampy.
Thursday
We took a tour of the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher. Britt played with an elderly dog. We saw a lot of castles and took a lot of pictures.
Friday
After the 3 hour train ride back to Dublin, I had a delicious bowl of beef stew (with mashed potatoes on top!) at
The Farm, and then we bought souvenirs. It was a quiet day as Britt was starting to get homesick for Ben, Tillie, and Bubble.
Saturday
Airport!
