Firefox speed enhancements

I recently bought the book Hacking Firefox (for those who don't know, Firefox is a web browser which is much more customizable than Internet Explorer, IMHO of course). I tried some of their performance enhancements and WHOA! It's like I've gone plaid and running at ludicrous-speed...

GreaseMonkey redux - or "the trouble with caches"
The GreaseMonkey script I posted last week was giving me some problems. I finally figured out it was due to my browser caching my friends pages. Even though the contents had changed, it refused to get another copy. I first disabled all caching on my browser to test. The script finally worked, but cache-less browsing is a bit of a pain.
