Inspiration Flood- camping report

Got back from camping. Went to Fort Bragg, fave spot. I feel like I got a shot in the arm for inspiration and neerly have a canvase painting finished! Something I have not done in YEARS! I'll post it when it is done. I also have a searies of others just ready to paint. AGCH, it feels so awesome

It was so freaking awesome. I can not say how much my heart welled at seeing the wonderful sights of creation. There was also wild huckleberries! Which I like better then black berries. So I was in totaly euphoria sitting on the ground plucking berries.

We also went to the meeting, the hall is so neet! It was built like a small wood cabin with giant footXfoot red wood beams.

Wow that is an awesome trip. I only got to go camping once yet again this year and it was a week in Tofino late May. I was in a whale watching zodiak and a gray whale came so close that I could have taken a running jump and went riding! But I took pictures instead, lol. Can't wait to see the painting =3 I'm doing full digital illustrations for commissions to the yin yang right now.

I am really excited. I got lost for a while in my art..but last years trip reminded me of what I love, and this year filled me with the inspiration showing me how to do it. I am working on an acrylic painting with metalics added, a sea Kelp forest with moon jellies. Small, but I will work up to a larger canvas as I get back into the painting.

There was a gallery there that I love to visit, and it was total inspiration overload. It is a glass shop, but they have some paintings too. Did you get to smell his breath??? That is so awesome!!!! Grey Whales are supposed to smell different. Humpbacks smell like a day old fish market....some times you can smell them before you can see them if the wind is right.
