I DON'T HAVE ANY BASIC CABLE!! I THOUGHT I COULD WATCH ONLINE BUT I FOUND NOTHING ON YOUTUBE AND/OR LIVE STREAMING TAKES FOR EVER!! PLUS, I MISSED IT BECAUSE OF WORK!!! SAD PANDA!!!
I guess NBC were a bunch of dicks about letting it air anywhere in the US, including blocking internet feeds. TBH, their commentary ruined everything. For example:
(On Screen - Grass)
NBC: And now to explain what we are seeing here to our viewers. What you are looking at is grass. See how green it is? *Explains the concept of grass*
(Playing: Cover of an iconic band)
NBC: The cover of this song is great, right? *Talks over entire first part of song)
There were only like, I dunno, TWO TIMES during the whole thing where they told you something interesting and informative that you couldn't see. Like how bringing the Olympics to London's East End really help redevelop it and shape its economy. Or how there were LCD screens installed on every seat.
But yeah. They held your hand the entire time. (And edited it, and ruined it with commercials). It was really obnoxious. Just hope some kind British folks skirt copyright and post the actual version online where US viewers can see it.
