When he came to, Hayner assessed the situation. He was blindfolded, gagged, and handcuffed to something. It wasn’t a chair, he was spread out on something kind of soft. He guessed a bed, and then he shuddered. Carpet, he could do carpet. He could move his hands a little, and it felt like wood behind him. The image of a bed came roaring back, and he grimaced.
Please no. Please no.
The next few minutes were spent reworking over how he got himself into this situation.
He’d been angry about something…he felt like he’d had a fight with somebody, but it wasn’t Pence or Olette, he knew.
