It was raining.
Again.
XIII was beginning to notice a pattern in the weather of the world that never was. To be fair in regards to the lateness of this observation, his other had a brain as functional as a Labrador puppy with twice as much love and half as much wit.
Roxas leaned at his window, chin resting in his palm as he watched the torrents pour from the sky. He shouldn't be sitting here, he knew. He should be out there doing something, maybe cleaning Heartless out of the lower districts. But the sound of the rain hitting the eves of the roof over his window just made him feel lethargic. He'd be passed out right now if it wasn't so damn coldFreezing hands on his shoulders shocked him out his train of thought. Axel's annoyance cracked into a bit of a smile, just a bit.
"You can't get sick." Axel pointed out, though he was already kicking off his boots and removing his coat. Demyx smiled like the cat who got the canary.
"Not with your help, no! Roxas, quick, before he changes his mind."
"I never agreed-"
"Quick like a bunny!"
Battle reflexes, Roxas decided, were a complete crock of shit. Because the next thing he knew he was shoved onto the couch and wedged between Demyx and Axel. It was ... actually pretty comfortable, especially when Demyx pulled the blanket over the three of them and Axel brought up his radiant heat for the embrace like a heating blanket of their own.
Now warm, with the sound of rain still going on outside, and very very content, Roxas finally drifted off to sleep.
