It was just a rumor and a couple of scared, junkie bitches, but the reputation held, complicated by the murder rap he'd gotten off on--a hung jury, if you can believe that. More like Axel and a couple friends paid a juror a visit. Took a shit in his mouth, maybe. Way leads on to way, and the inside of a decade saw Axel's rise to fame. His meteoric rise to shit. You just didn't fuck with him if you liked your balls. You didn't fuck with him if you liked your safe, sleepy, suburban life. But for kids like Roxas, kids on the fringes of society, Axel was king. When Axel wasn't in a mood, wasn't subsisting off of Rice Krispies Treats, French Onion Sun Chips, and Grey Goose, he was threatening people or breaking fingers.
