Riku looked up from his homework as a definite fwump signaled the arrival of his best friend (boyfriend? Lover? Whatever. His…Sora). Years of friendship had taught him that feigning disinterest was much simpler than immediately engaging in a conversation with the other boy, so he dutifully returned his attention to the work scattered before him

A week later and the sense of impending doom still had not dissipated.

Nevertheless, he bought whipped-cream from the supermarket across town while Sora stole handcuffs from the chocolate store he worked in (which, for reasons unknown, had an eclectic gift shop in the basement). Buying dessert had never felt so wrong, in Riku’s eyes; he wondered about the irreparable damage this would undoubtedly cause to his psyche as he waited for Sora to finish digging the handcuffs out of his backpack.

“Aha, got ‘em!” the younger boy shouted victoriously as he waved two pairs of novelty handcuffs above his head, within perfect snatching distance of Riku.

“And now I’ve got them.” He smirked. Experimentation was one thing, but there was no way he was going to bottom for this little adventure.

“But, Riku, I wanted to handcuff you to the bed,” Sora whined as Riku walked him backward. He flopped gracelessly onto the mattress, still pouting as Riku crawled over him and nuzzled into the crook of his neck

The week after what Sora called “The Dairy Disaster” but what Riku referred to as “Hell in an Aerosol Can” found the two teens standing in Sora’s kitchen once again, which was mercifully free of milk substances

Riku shuddered and hightailed it out of the door; it was the only way to ensure the preservation of his sanity.

...okay then, I forgive you. It helps that Riku said no and ran away.

I just... let's just say I have a lot of friends on MSN who shared (or more, I inflicted it upon them in the hopes of lessening my own pain) in my horror upon finding that particular fic, and now run screaming whenever the words 'chocolate', 'covered' and 'remote' are uttered in the same sentence. Or any type of implication towards TV remotes going where TV remotes should never go.

Regardless of all of this, I liked it. It was well written and funny and I always enjoy it when Sora gets his balls back and acts a bit more dominant than fandom general usually likes him. ♥

So, so, sorry, Anon, for being over a month late in replying to my one and only request (no, I lied, one of two). I had just about given it up as a lost cause, because seriously, it had to be crazy, right? WRONG! LOOK AT THIS BEAUTIFUL THING. SO IC. SO FUCKING HILARIOUS. I'm glad to hear that you had a good time writing this, because the fun certainly translated into the fic. It just came off... effortless, and that's something I envy in people's writing. Rock on.
