“What the hell, old man.” Axel woke with a vengeance to Vexen’s infernally cold lab-he’d know the lack of heat anywhere. The old man himself, though, was nowhere in sight. Irritated, the pyro would have drummed his fingers, but like the rest of his gloriously naked self, his arms and hands were strapped in a position that denied him the privilege. How in the world had he ended up here?
“Good evening, VIII.” Ice bitch finally decided to make an appearance. Lovely. Green eyes met equally green eyes, but Vexen’s flicked away almost immediately. “I would prefer you keep your voice down; although my labs are sound-proofed, the noise gives me a headache. Naturally, if you are not in the mood to comply, I can supply assistance.”
