Finally, a few drops tonight to break the oppressive heat. It's been 40+ (104+) for the last few days with a hot wind as a bonus. Over Christmas, it reached 47 (117) where my husband works and my son went to spend a few days. He came down with heat stroke ( Read more... )

Wow - where abouts are you? I'm in Perth and it got to 41 today...

Wow. What a small world. I had no idea you were so close. I'm about 50 mins south of Perth! In fact, I was just sweating my way around Perth today.

sounds like your summer is a lot like ours. the 104, not the 117. I can't even imagine it being that hot! I'd gladly trade weather with you right now. I hate cold weather!
