Oh yes. I don't suppose that Lily is going to give Ginny her marching orders? No? Too much to ask for? Oh well. :-) I suppose I might like *your* Ginny anyway.
I'd forgotten, has the whole looks-like-his-mother thing been addressed in this story? I think that might be a fanon creation, last I heard canon only had them both with red hair - maybe even auburn vs. red. Still, it's a fond construct in certain regions of the fandom ... :-)
I wish Rowling had stuck to the horcrux line, and resisted her impulse to introduce even more gimmicks into the seventh book. I much prefer what you're doing here, it's a leaner and more elegant story, and there are still heaps of possibilities and twists with just horcruxes.
Hope you had a good Christmas!

There's a cute time travel story in which Harry goes back to the Marauder era, is sitting somewhere minding his own business, when Lily bursts in, hops on his lap, and starts kissing him before realizing her mistake.
Ah the joy of poking taboos.

Yes, I understand that ...
so stop trying to make it so - it will only make you frustrated and me annoyed.... which is why I thought I'd done an adequate job of making my post teasing rather than serious - the smileys, the concession to your Ginny, etc. I'm not frustrated; if you're not at the 'annoyed' point then no harm's been done ( ... )
