Yet another review - Amulet of Samarkand - Jonathan Stroud

As you may know, my commute lends itself to audiobooks - some of which are great, some of which are not-so-great...

This is one of the not so great ones.

Hey, we agree. I actually gave up reading this one at some point in the story and just skipped to the last chapter or so. I also remember being kind of turned off by parts of it.

A protagonist is supposed to be likeable, and this one wasn't that much.
