Exasperated...a tiny rant.
At Daniel's request (and with some misgivings), I invited all the kids from Daniel's pre-K class to his birthday party, and have gotten two RSVPs. Two. All of the others have given me no indication of whether or not their kids will be there. So I have no idea if we're having 2 kids or 20. It's really hard to plan for an event with that much

And just so you know, hardly anyone will RSVP to an event anymore. Apparently everyone's forgotten what it means, just as they've forgotten basic math (ARM mortgage, anyone?) and physics (two vehicles can not actually occupy the same space on a roadway). The corollary to that is, if you invite 20 people, usually 10 will show up. I fear for our future as a society.
