That's such a beautiful place. I've never been. I would love to go one day; but Italy isn't high on my priority list, so I probably won't. It would be such fun to take one of those boats down the canal though. I love boats. I used to work on one.

Venice is wonderful, more for the walking than for the boats--no vespas, buses, or cars--you can walk for miles over bridges, along canals, in parks and piazzas. It is like no other place I have visited.
