I am guessing Hutchinson is pro-choice to some degree, although I don't really know. He seemed to want an anti-choice woman, and even the Republican party has few of those.

Upon first wave, it seems the conservatives and middle-of-the-roaders out here (most of them knowing who the key players are in Alaska) are pretty okay with McCain's choice, makes him seem like a choice. I agree that most of the nation (luckily!) won't be wooed by this new relationship with one of the this-doesn't-quite-belong faces of the Republican party.
