your writing is amazing. i like that it's a sad ending, there's happy endings too often in fanfic. (or maybe i'm just reading the happy ones) i am trying to find the words that describes the emotions in this/what you made me feel, and the best i can come up with is quietly melancholy, and that's still not quite right. i think i understand a bit your "hard to convey exactly how I felt",since i can't convey exactly what you made me feel, i think you succeeded.

Oh, thank you so much! You're too kind.

It makes me feel a bit better to know you think I succeeded since I feel I still wasn't quite right with this story, but nevertheless I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thank you again for reading and reviewing. :3

What a coincidence. I was listening to a rainy jazz music while reading this and it just completed the mood. This is sad, but not all the way because they still remain as friends. The sad mood to this while putting a small ray of content in the end kinda warms my heart. Alfred, though, makes me want to reach out for him and just hug him because I know that he needs it. ;u;

It's meant to leave it with a note of finality to their relationship, but not to THEM as friends and such. I think many people missed that while reading, sadly, or I may not have expressed it well enough.

Either way, thank you for reading and reviewing. I'm glad you had music to help with the mood (I was listening to the same song on repeat that'll be the theme song on the FST). IT certainly adds to the story.
