I don't mind them getting together at all. It was a nice moment and I really love their interaction.^^ Both their stories are pretty sad and the way you described Alfred's past and his way of thinking resulting from that is amazing. I can't understand Arthur's mother though. How could she leave one of her children? Will you explain that later? Sorry for pointing out something like that but mother's like this in fanfictions always make me very emotional.
Anyway, great chapter as always. I'm looking forward to the next.^^
