OMG, I hope you weren't injured in the crash? I hope you have support from friends and family, it sounds like you're going through a difficult time. On to your new story, I like that you combined the human and cat worlds! It all sounds very realistic and from your detailed descriptions, I could see it all happening clearly in my head! Alfred sounds like the ideal therapist and I love how the relationship between him and Arthur develops slowly but eventfully.

Ah no, I wasn't even in the car. Someone hit it and didn't leave a note and it was a good deal of damage that my insurance doesn't cover, so it all has to come out of pocket. Luckily, I do have support from friends and family, and the positive reaction to this update from readers has helped a lot in terms of my confidence too!

I'm glad you enjoyed a more mature Alfred. When he's calm I think America could be quite smart.

Oh, this is so lovely! I've never read any cat-human verse... and you got me craving there ;; I love the development of their relationship from therapist-patient to mates. Arthur's situation [or all of the abandoned Omegas] is so realistic, and Alfred gives damn good advices! Haha, maybe I should live by his words! *hugs*

I got the idea of the cat-human verse from that Christmas special a few years back. It made it easier for me to expand upon their characters in a slightly varied way due to the fact the canon versions were never fully shown personality wise.

The abandoned Omega bit is meant to symbolize those who have been raped and molested in our world, so I'm glad it came across as being realistic.

Thanks for reading! :D

This story is very interesting though. I never really thought of this kind of AU, a cat AU and Omegaverse together. I think it's a very clever idea! I easily caught on to the hidden meanings in this one because of the comparison with the real world. I like how you emphasised the more mature part of Alfred, and I found myself falling in love with this side of him ( ... )

I think that America, in canon, has slowly matured. I've noticed that as it gets more modern, like with the specials, he can still be silly (Batman, anyone), but he's also calmed down some (the last Christmas arc he was telling others to be quiet!), so I think he can totally have this more adult aspect to him. And it's hot! LOL!

England, as a whole, is a very emotional and isolationist kind of character. Even Hima doesn't know if he should be taken seriously or not. But that doesn't mean he can't be a guy who grows and learns and becomes stronger. He wouldn't be an empire if he hadn't.

I DON'T WRITE SMUT VERY WELL GO AWAY SHUSH!

Ah, yes... It's just been a trying time in my life. I apologize. If you're ever worried, please, feel free to hit me up on tumblr or here on lj and I'll be happy to talk with you! :D

And yes, I'm used to them, and I love them from you! :D
