I have no idea where did I read that line about the mind being closely tied up to the body, I only know sadly and annoying that it's true. That when you're not feeling well, or physically tired out, there's this despondency that just sets in and the mind starts over thinking, starts being paranoid about the slightest things. Or maybe it's just me
