Started off this Monday morning with a shock, someone I knew committed suicide. I was never close to him nor did we talk much except for the few cursory obligatory greetings. But still the news that he’s gone still hits home somehow and I find myself surprisingly somewhat bitter

maybe it's easier to get worked up over an article about someone you knew personally. sensationalism and unobjective story angles are all in the day's work for journalists anywhere i guess.
