GERBER BABY FOODS HAVE GM INGREDIENTS

i wrote to GERBER and asked them if they have genetically modified ingredients in their baby formula and this is the letter they sent back to me:

Wow...that's pretty bad. At least they were honest about it, but man. When you're a company that provides goods and services for children and infants, you really need to be more careful than this about what goes into your products. -.- I'm glad you stay on top of things like this for your grandson's sake.

I thought they promoted they didn't use GM products in their food. This really surprised me. I have to hand it to you, you wrote an awesome reply.

from reports i had read they could have as much as 48& GM soy in their formula. i'm not sure if they had claimed otherwise but gerber is the only formula that W.I.C. (program for lower income babies/children) provides so we're between a rock and a hard place for his formula.
