Doll Meet

Apr 05, 2009 11:23

Doll meet is going to be Sunday May 3rd.

Will be poking those of you who don't say anything in the next little while.

Not sure about a location but if it's raining I was thinking Universite de Montreal if  we could get it, otherwise maybe someplace out doors? Hate to be cliche, but we can do the botanical garden if it's nice, seems to be a yearly ( Read more... )

I have no idea of location, other than the University would be a grat place because it is Central and there's plenty of places to go nearby and you are a hop away from the subway for anything really. The Botanical garden is fun but also has a lot of people during the weekend.

I thought the Botanical Garden would be interesting (a great tradition!) and wanted to check if it'd still be free in May but, according to the Garden's website, you gotta pay over $10 to enter even during the low season!

Meh.

You can still count me in~! ^_^

I'll try to think of more original places where we could hide in case of rain...

I think you only have to pay for certain parts of the site, I don't remember everhaving to pay whenever we were there before.

I never had to pay at the main gate either, unless I visited during summer. I guess we'd have to call beforehand, just to be sure...

Also, just to add to the list of places-to-visit-if-it's-sunny, I thought maybe we could go on Mount Royal. There's a lot of flora there too, nice shadowy areas and not too many passersby.

I'm still struggling to find comfy indoor spaces that aren't overcrowded. So far, I believe universities are the most practical. ^_^;

Ooh, I thought about Mont Royal- we're probably going to visit it at some point, and Lea suggested also Parc Lafontain.

But I'm really hoping it's going to be nice those days.

My presence will still depend on a variety of factors, but if I'm there, the botanical gardens might be a good idea still, or the Old Port, if we bring blankets & such (if it's not rainy). Parc Lafontaine, otherwise? Since it's huge & central.

I hope that you can make it! I'd really like to see your guys again. ;_;
But Parc Lafontaine is a good idea.

I'll try bringing 13 at the Cirque! He's more bendable than Crowley and will likely fit in my purse XD
