So I told you about swine flu being in Japan now right? Well, my host mother is worrying about it. So Tuesday she wouldn't let me go out to go see my friends and what not... I guess I was visibly showing that I was upset, but I was, seeing as how I'm going home on Monday, not being able to see the people who have made me happy for the past nine

That really sucks, Matt :( They overreacted to swine flu here--for like 4 days. Then they realized oh wait, it's no more dangerous than regular flu, so we'll chill out. Almost all of the people who died from it were in Mexico. Hope you get to see your friends before you have to leave!!
