I've heard some good things about "Cirque du Freak," but Twilight scared me away from that genre for awhile. I'll have to poke through a couple of volumes at the store and see if the library has them.

haha the same has happened to me since Twilight came out. However, a friend who has read both series/sagas told me Cirque du Freak was a much better read than Twilight (she still can't believe how bad the grammar was in Twilight). So, I gave it shot and the rest you know. XD

I wish I could participate in the help_haiti community. >.< I have a lot going on lately so I don't want to commit to something unless I know I can keep my part of the bargain and finish it. I have already donated to several charities though so that's something at least, right? As long as I can do my part and help those poor people in some way. My heart goes out to them...

awwww, it's ok! you're already doing your part with your local charities so don't feel too bad. :)
I'm doing this cos it's the only way I could help.

I've been without internet almost all the last week... I haven't read yet the post about Haiti's humanitary help @_@

I would like to help too, but I'm so busy right now with exams D__: I'll try to read it this night so I can see what can I do to help too, although my family is giving money to the church alredy to send food and clothes to the people there.
