I can remember one year, I believe that it was the last year he was alive, but my stepdad Jim gave me this postcard from 1947 that his dad sent him when his dad was off in the war. I think that Jim was only 3 years old at the time, and he always used to tell me how special that postcard was to him because his dad died when Jim was only 15. And he gave it to me in his last Christmas. I thought that was pretty special.

I remember that someone gave me a DVD player, because I was the only one in the world without one, and they knew that!

When my brother was very young, he wrapped up one of his favorite stuffed animals and gave it to me for Christmas. I cried.
