It's so bad - and it's just beginning

My dad emailed me about a couple restaurants closing in his area. Circuit City is filing chapter 11 and DHL is discontinuing shipping within the United States.

I'm not a great believer in panic, but I'm keeping the option open.

Wow. I hadn't heard about DHL yet. There's been all kinds of restaurants closing around here. But I'm sure nothing's wrong. /sarcasm

When I started nursing school a year and a half ago, the wanted ads for nurses took up two or three pages in the Sunday newspaper. This last Sunday, for nurses (you know, with a shortage and all)...it was only half a page long. Eeeek!
