a sad read from an adult? I'm sure that is highly contigent on the adult reading it ;)

I haven't read those since 6th grade...hmmm...nostalgia...

*blink blink* have you never read them before? having them read to me by my dad (several times I might add) is 1 of the only good memories I have left of the man. they are fantastic books. I remember curling up on the floor under blankets with my best friend Ginger and her little sister while he'd read the books to us. that and, of course, when I was really little sitting on his knee while he read them to me. some of the best books ever I say.
