That is..just amazing. All that beadwork is boggling. Awsome win, too-- Dragon*con is a HUGE contest!
Also: I keep forgetting to mention this to you: I'm kicking myself for not seeing you at SDCC! And you were setting up/sitting right next to the AGSMA group, too. There's a long, slightly amusing story behind this-- but I'll tell you the next time I actually see you. (What cons are you planning to attend upcoming?)
At SDCC I was hoping you would find me >_< I KNEW would be backstage somewhere during the masq, but I never did see you.
Eh... I'm still considering which con to do next year. For furry cons: FC for sure, then I think I'll hit Vancoufur and/or Furnal equinox and maybe MFF.
For the BIG cons, I'm really torn between SDCC and Dragon*con. Doing both is exhausting... I really couldn't do that again. SDCC is old and familiar, but the masquerade is getting less and less about workmanship and more and more about "who did the funniest skit". Dragon*con was overwhelming at times, but there are SO MANY costume contests that I can just pick the workmanship contest without worrying about putting on a whole production (also, I love not being forced to hide your costume until the contest, I get why SDCC does it, but it means I pack my best costume and only get to wear it once or twice)
