Sweden Thus Far

So, I've been in Sweden for almost two weeks now. I've been vaguely trying to keep a journal about all the things I've seen/ places I've been. So I thought I'd post a brief-ish summary of the majority of the trip, seeing as how I'll be home in a few days. We're spending the entire trip with a former au pair of ours, Christina, and her husband,

It was very cool to hear about everything you saw in Sweden, especially the ancient monuments!

I will admit that I feel a bit bad making fun of him since I mangle Swedish like nobody's business. My English and then Japanese trained mouth and brain just cannot even begin to mimick the sounds required to propely pronounce the language. And pronouncing Swedish with a Japanese accent is almost as bad as horribly Americanizing it.
