So I made it to Korea.  I'm gonna be cheesy and call this my own Y2K -- Year 2 Korea.  So far it's much better than the first.  Let's examine why:

1.) My plane was delayed by 3 hours in Detroit.  Because of this delay, I missed my connecting flight from Japan to Korea.  This sounds like a bad thing at first glance, but not so.  It was a "mechanical
