4 day weekends!

Sep 14, 2008 20:38

So, I was dropped from the waitlist for the Computer Security class I was really excited about. This totally sucks. On the brighter side, I have 4 day weekends every week now (class: Tues-Thurs, free: Fri-Mon). This isn't as good as it sounds because I'm still carrying 16units and my Tuesday/Thursday schedule is out of control with 6hours of ( Read more... )

I have Fridays free. I'd love to come do some of this stuff with you, health permitting. I've been taking my bike along the bay trail a lot recently, it's v. nice.

I like Seaborg. You could name him "Betta Breakers." Har har.

Canned salmon is one of the things currently providing me with a lot of protein. It's good stuff.

I'd also love to go rock-climbing, but my arms are being weird and weak lately. Maybe indoors would be good.

Happy birthday, by the way. Would you like ice-cream again?

Excellenté! Friday's are the one day off I share with Marie, so she will probably hog me for much of that time, but you're totally welcome along then, and also on the weekend and whenever. Rock climbing and biking would be great. Maybe biking up to Indian Rock or something.

I can't find any reason to eat canned tuna anymore, when canned wild Alaskan salmon only costs a little more, and is superior by any other measure (mercury for one).

Thanks for the 'happy birthday.' Ice cream is not necessary, but you know I could never say know if you made some.

If Fridays are your day with Marie, maybe we could do stuff in the city.

Mondays I have class from 12-2 and then I go to the chiropractor in the city after that. But other than that I'm fairly free.

The only thing about canned salmon is that sometimes it has bones in it. Ick.

I'll let you know when I do. :)

I do want to spend more time in the city, and I think Marie would appreciate it. We should definitely work that out sometime soon.

I haven't found bones in canned salmon yet, but that would be very annoying. I hated fish for a long time because of the bones. I still rarely order fish that I know has bones.

Oh dang my day off JUST STOPPED being Friday. :( But I meant to mention that I still really wanna try fishing some time. Want to take me? Other things I'd be up for include picnicking, Tilden, path walking, helping you with the Linux thing, making excuses to take pictures and taking them. Also tea.

Weak! Which days do you have free? I'm a little disappointed I haven't taken you fishing yet. I prefer spring fishing a bit, though I haven't really given fall a fair chance. I'm thinking maybe Lafayette Reservoir, good lake, not often crowded too badly, parking reasonably close to most docks. I'll see if I can talk one of the guys into driving, and I'll get the tackle together. Better to go sooner rather than later, before the water gets too cold.

I'd totally be in to do the things you listed in the very near future, like this next week (except I might put off the linux box until I get my shit together better, and decide what I want to use it for). Let me know when you're free and what you want to do first.

Wednesday and Sunday, now. This Wednesday I will still probably be refilling my Dan-meter (as he is only just back in town) and on Sunday we were talking about going to Kiva, but Wednesday of next week is an option. The following Sunday is Dan's birthday so I expect to be busy, although I don't know with what yet. (Hey, maybe picnic or tea? Birds, stones, etc.?)

Wednesdays are probably my easiest day that I have class, I'm still pretty unavailable, since I have my microfabrication lab and discussion, and a bunch of work due on Thursdays. Though I'm usually interested in going out for dinner any night. Or perhaps lunch around campus in the 11-noon area.

Dan is more than welcome to anything listed above. Everyone loves hitting birds with stones.

I'll totally help with all the computer stuff! 8D

It's an excuse to be in touch a bit more frequently.

Excellent, though that stuff may be the most delayed on this list. I hope to get to it in the next month or two.
